Después de que estrenara en Nueva York el documental sobre Dinastía Vivanco, Zev Robinson, nos da a conocer el trailer de un documental que está preparando sobre la región de Arribes del Duero.

Sinopsis:

The Spanish region of Arribes is a natural park next to Portugal along the Duero. It was once covered with vineyards which have today been reduced to 750 hectares and the population has dwindled. Yet a traditional way of life has been maintained and people have moved there from big cities and other countries, attracted by its possibilities and challenges. Of the twenty regions of Spain I have visited, this has to be the most fascinating.

“Los Arribes” is not a region, is a Natural Park that covers several “comarcas”. ‘Sayago’ is a “comarca” of the province of Zamora in the South and the “comarcas” ‘La Ribera’ y ‘Ledesma’ in the province of Salamanca to the south, all of them in Spain. But also there are Portuguese territories as Tras Os Montes.
The auntentic region is the ‘Leonese Region’ (provinces of Salamanca, Zamora and Leon).
